Using a MONO stylus sounds interesting... I have heard of using a MONO one on a record player so why not right?
Yes Poltergeist is Stereo on the Videodisc (Straight analogue) while on VHS it has been digitally processed which is sad....... (Sounds disgusting in analog (thin)) and they have the nerve to put "PRESENTED IN ITS ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE VERSION" on the tape case!!!
Ya right ... THE ORIGINAL 1982 MOVIE WAS NOT DIGITALLY PROCESSED GARBAGE!!!!! -- It was beautifully warm analogue audio!!!
