Not really a purchase, but a relative of mine gave me a huge load of VHS tapes with Doctor Who episodes recorded on them! This haul has been a few years in the making, but I'm now the proud owner of well over 100+ tapes of various episodes which were home-recorded off of PBS in the '80s and '90s, comprising numerous episodes from the first to the seventh Doctors, plus a pre-recorded tape of one of the theatrical features from the '60s,
Dr. Who and the Daleks (not related to the 1963 episode of nearly the same name). Haven't watched any of them yet, but it should make for some out-of-this-world viewing!
