Nick, I would be very interested in hearing whether you can adapt the chassis to use some CRT other than a 15GP22. The supply of good 15GP22s is limited, and even a seemingly-good CRT, like the one in my CT-100, may start to leak at any time.
The 15GP22 rebuild process is fraught with difficulties, as we all know, and who knows when -- if ever -- a foolproof rebuild can be developed. In the meantime, it would be great to have some alternative that lets people watch these historic sets without fearing that the picture may go dark at any moment.
