What do you all think of that two stage video amp circuit? The video detector is dc coupled to the 1st video amp grid. Then there's a dc path from it's plate through R33 all the way to the CRT grid. The only coupling cap is C30 between the 1st and 2nd video stages. I'm thinking there's no need for additional dc restoration.
