I'm not suggesting you connect anything to pin 6 for the 21FAP4. You say you have a 21FDP4 in there now. Take a look at the data for it. It shows G2 as pin 6. So try switching the wire on pin 6 to pin 3 and the wire on pin 2 to pin 3.
