The majority of console/combo TV's made after 1950 have rather boxy dull designs with the CRT and mask making up for most of the frontal design. They're the least desirable vintage TV's of them all. Having said that, if you can one cheaply, they make for very enjoyable sets to use and enjoy. I would say you shouldn't pay more than $50 for a nice complete example.
Exceptions are round screen Zenith's and early color sets.
