Most here would agree this is a very interesting set but if you are intent on going down the TV repair rabbit-hole, please start out by restoring tube radios of the same vintage, which are cheap and plentiful. I was able to step up to TVs after doing that.

You are in a good position to learn post-war TV if you have not worked on the more standard TV designs that came later. You need to re-learn everything and for some of us who spent lots of time learning on the late 1950s thru 80s TVs, that is MUCH more difficult.
