I think I didn't describe what the audio was doing properly. The audio does come through like it would normally, but it is extremely distorted and quiet.

About an hour after starting this thread, I went back to turn on the TV and a few seconds after hitting power, the CRT lit up. 90 seconds later, it shut off while the channel selector remained on.

I also tried looking for a Sams folder of the set, but I couldn't find one for this exact set.
