IIRC the KV25XBR is the same basic chassis. Set up should be the same.
Not much to it if you are using the ( assumed) TTL input. Almost all problems
with these were cold joints around the IF's on one of the side boards.

NOT on this set but a warning for all. One XBR set has an exploding back !
It was a little newer & had an optional pedestal base with foot controls.
Also an add on tuner. First sign of troubles is when you move the set.
You hear plastic rolling around inside. Next is pulling the back screws
you see half of them broken out. Next you pull the back off and it explodes
into pieces & lands on the floor.
Trouble is the wrong plastic and the fact that two VERY heavy speakers were
mounted to the back. The second you pulled the back the weight of the
speakers tore it apart. We had two of then do this then we got wise. A few
others showed up & we explained the situation to the customer. We politely
refused to work on them. Too bad as the problem on all was a cold joint
on the PS board, a true gravy job !
