Don't know about the REST of y'all, but there was a guy a couple/3 years back who posted a BIG lot of Comecon type Hi-Fi, over at AK, the GOOD stuff, not the cheap-shit Wally world grade "Breaks B4 the Credit card is paid off" junque.. Way I remember it, apparently a goodly portion of it went to Bossmens, doctors, big-shot Party Hacks, Hi-falutin' Rootin Tootin types who DEMANDED higher grade stuff, & at least some of it was made in gov't & military grade factories, where They KNEW What They Were Doing... If I wasn't 62, poorer than Job's Turkey, it MIGHT be fun to go over to Comecon Land, scarf up some of their Goodies, bring 'em back-And see how long it took for me to become tee-totally BANKRUPT... But what a Wild Ride I'd likely have gettin' there.. Knowin' MY luck, I'd likely be breakin' some Nit-Wit Law or another, & would end up bein' stood up against some wall & shot..
