I've got 2 smaller lighter SS Heathkits (one with vector scope) that do gated rainbow, H,V and cross hatch lines, and some pocket sized gens I need to test/fix... I'm somewhere around half Heath half DVD pattern broadcast over my agile modulator these days.
I do a pretty good job of dumping the crap I know I'll never use, it is the stuff I might need and worse yet the cool crap I want to keep that is getting me...I also let folks give me junk too much...both those RCAS came from folks telling me "I want this out of my life, PLEASE take it"...a fair portion of my less used test equipment found me that way...
Sometimes in life you adopt equipment and sometimes the equipment adopts you...I feel like I need to add an " in Soviet Russia" to that sentence.
