Today on stupid mistakes facilitated by bad design practice: mixing up yoke leads. The yoke is marked for red and blue horizontal leads and yellow and yellow with black stripe for the vertical....so what colors of wire did Conrac use?...Why red and grey for the horizontal and yellow and brown for the vertical (of course)....so what did I do in the face of this soo easy an engineer could get it wrong color coding...I swapped the brown and grey and thusly pissed off the horizontal section... reverting to the correct hook up it fixed it.
