Note that all (except channel selector) are single function. Front panel Focus was not unusual on early sets. Tone was seen on many deluxe sets. “Framing” would be horizontal hold, and “background” would be brightness. The difficult to read control left of the CRT is vertical hold. Nothing too unusual.

I didn't say there was anything unusual I was just kind of surprised at how many controls there were on this set compared to my set which is also an early Post WWII set that is similarly sized to this one and was also made in a small Indiana town.
