When we were kids, my brothers and I were the beneficiaries of plenty of TV boxes. Our favorites were the RCA boxes because they were in red and black, and the RCA meatball logo was perfect for cutting out into side hinged windows.
After a couple of days of taking a beating as "forts" or after a rain, they would end up being used for a slide in the lawn.
