Most definitely not a Samsung. Might have a Samsung display and ballast, but the display looks more like an AUO if I had to bet money.

A model number would be handy. If the standby light is on but it doesn't respond to the power button, it probably has bricked firmware.

Take a close up of the main - I may have firmware for that basic main under a different brand name. If so, I can load an eeprom for another brand like Element or Seiki. The TV would work but would have the menus and remote codes for a different brand.
