I have a 1949 model 9116. They made a couple variations as I did a lot of research at that time and only found a couple online exactly like mine. Going off distant memory there were a different number of tubes in the variants and at least 1 of them like mine has an electrolytic cap on top that is not in a can. If that is anything like what you have I can dig out my schematic and send scans if neccessary, if the ones provided in the link dont work.
I did do a post on mine months ago with general questions that wont help you. Mine also had a lot of bad work done to it, including electro hacking and it put a stop to my progress, although Im hoping to work on it again soon. My schematic is not 100% compatible with mine which was a problem for me, but you have a better understanding of electronics than me so wont be a problem.
