The general concepts of frequency and amplitude vs. frequency apply in alignment, but the frequencies you work with there with are much higher than audio frequencies: intermediate frequencies (IF) and radio frequencies (RF). IF and RF are not directly audible frequencies - you need instruments to detect and measure them.
