This is not really relevant to anything, just another WTF moment, before doing the IF alignment for the 2nd time, I wanted to make sure all the IF tubes (6CB6) were fresh and strong, and thus replaced them with NOS.
However, when I got to the 4th IF to replace it, I noticed it did NOT have a 6CB6 in there, but 6AU6

After cleaning the sockets and pins, I was careful to put each tube back where it came from, taking them out one by one, even writing the position number on the outside of it.
But I did NOT look under the shields at the tubes themselves at the time. :/
What seems to have happened, that whoever had it before me, got the 4th video IF (6CB6) V8 and the audio IF (6AU6 ) V11 swapped with each other, and I did not notice it.
Now, these tubes are quite different from each other, very dissimilar in biasing, so I have to wonder, how the heck did this thing work at all with these tubes swapped?
