This TV must have been close to TOTL (top of the line, even for a '50s-'60s B&W combo) in its day. I don't know what make the original record changer was; however, the one shown here looks very much like a TOTL Garrard changer.
BTW, I agree that this TV must have sold for a very high price (I'd say $200-$300) when it was new, and not just because of the glass front panel. The cabinet itself all but screams TOTL, IIRC, and it wouldn't surprise me a bit if Westinghouse built the TV and radio chassis as well. Westinghouse was a TOTL manufacturer of home appliances in the '50s through about the '70s, so I would expect their home entertainment equipment (radio, TV, phonograph, etc.) to be just as good. I have a can opener made by White-Westinghouse which I bought when I moved here in 1999 (it still works), but I'm sure it's not the same quality as Westinghouse's '50s-'60s appliances. It is probably because I don't use the can opener very much that it still works; if it had daily use, I'm sure I would have junked it and bought a new one by now as appliances, like most everything else these days, are not meant to last anywhere near 20 years. Case in point: I just replaced my 20-year-old, 1,000+-watt Sharp microwave about two weeks ago with a 700-watt Black and Decker microwave. I don't expect the new one to last anywhere near 20 years, given how cheaply things are made these days.
