Question Marcel, are you running these USA-market sets on 50Hz power in NL? And if so are you feeding them with a 50Hz or 60Hz signal? I have a Predicta (and several other sets) that when I feed them a 60Hz NTSC signal the picture beats with the 50Hz power and is unwatchable. But if I feed a 50Hz signal the picture is stable but I'm not able to get correct geometry. All of your sets look good so I wonder how you're doing that.

I use 50 Hz power in the Netherlands. The videos also play at 50 Hz, which is fine. 50 Hz power with 60 Hz video playback goes wrong, image is not stable. Few problems with geometry, is important to replace the bad capacitors and tubes. You also have to keep in mind that those old TVs never have a perfect geometry. You often have a difference in cold to warm state after a few hours of playing. In many old service manuals it is written that a television must be adjusted after playing for half an hour.
