We have converter boxes that they sold by the millions here in the USA before the DTV transition here because many Americans still had perfectly good working Analog TV sets at the time so they had a $40 off coupon program for people in the USA so that we could buy converter boxes for our Analog TVs, you can still find plenty of those converter boxes at the thriftstores for $5, some of them are still in their original boxes yet, never used.
