Guess that $10 deck wasn't a bad deal at all, I was 12 when that deck came out and I was running a B&W Sony AVC3600 open reel VTR on an RCA TV/monitor, got it from the school auction for something like $10 each and had to fix the 8-pin. Think it weighed twice as much as I did!
