A convergence tip when the vertical convergence is slightly off and you keep chasing it around the screen:
(Does not apply to the large horizontal error you are seeing)
The vertical inearity of my CTC-5 has always been so-so, and the thought occurred that it could affect the convergence. I replaced the vertical sweep tubes, which improved the linearity a bit (still not super) and this reduced the convergence error quite a bit. Still a pain to compromise different areas of the screen, but the compromise is better.
