But then my grandparents got my great-grandparents (my grandmother's parents) 1980 or so vintage RCA ColorTracK TV which was either a 23" or 25" console TV with a cable compatible tuner (it had a red LED display for the channel readout, a pull-knob for the power/volume control and a 0-9 push-button control panel for direct entry of the channels into the TV Tuner, and that TV had perfect sound and perfect picture compared to the Sharp tv they had and my grandparents used the old RCA TV clear up until they moved out of their old house.
I was never impressed with Sharp TVs and VCRs, I always considered them lower quality products.
