Ok the new ballast is alive in my 7vt5a2 set. Ive stared at your photo on the arf for 2 days now, what threw me off is when you drew the diagram of the capacitor dropper, its labeled pin 8 next to the cl 90. Id post over there to ask about the diagrams and pin 8 but no way to get my account back.
Tv seems to warm up about the same. Tubes look dimmer and thats fine. I probably should check tube voltages anyway.
Now this ballast is ready and tested for the 9t1. Thanks again!
I made many mistakes putting the components in the wrong tube pin.
