Hi, thanks for your reply, I am in Italy, bought this tv about five months ago in Firenze ( Florence ), here there is 230vac mains voltage and at the time of the tv it was 220vac max....I friend of mine has a /38 model too but in its model there is a big mains trafo clearly added after ( is not a Philips style trafo...)but also has the four diodes PY82.....on the EAT cage there is a big resistor with a NTC and another big resistor is attached at the right of the chassis....connected to the four PY82 there are also two electrolitic bipolarized capacitors connected in parallel...also, I have seen a /38 model on a japanese blog and also the jap version has four PY82 on the left of the chassis and 2 near the EAT cage like mine...
