UPDATE: I got those capacitors on the top of the output transformer replaced and the audio went back to normal (it played at normal volume.)
And I also figured out that there was something weird going on with the "Stereo" Button on the unit because when I would jiggle and repeatedly push the "Stereo" button the audio would also get a lot louder with that button being fiddled around with, and I'm guessing that the button's contacts must be getting worn out because I had sprayed that button down twice with contact cleaner and it still was acting up.
I had the unit working really well (I had the "Stereo" switch jiggled around enough so that the volume was coming out like it was supposed to when the guy came to pick it up and take it home (and pay me for my work) but then when he got it home and hooked it up and tried it out at home it quit working properly again, (which I have a feeling it was that "Stereo" switch that glitched out again), which I tried to explain to him through text message how to manipulate that switch to get the audio to come back again, but it didn't seem to want to work for him like it did for me, so I'm going to have to work on it again for him at some point.
