With the mix ratios they give, I think I can get a small quart of it and try it on the underside. If it's correct, I think I'll spring for the mix in an aerosol can as I think that would give a better finish than brush. I'll also do the back of the stand to see if it would look good in same color.

If you're spraying onto the bare plastic after sanding it down, there's a kind of primer you can get that adheres to plastic better and gives a good foundation for the top coat
