Good Evening -- You don't say if there is a tape in it or not. If you are just turning it on,
With or without a tape, I'm wondering if it's a power supply problem or High Voltage
problem, and it's going over voltage and shutting down. Or low voltage has a high
load and it's shutting off.... Anyway, this may be diagnosed a little better with a
100w Bulb in series with the tv The "Dim Bulb" thing, AKA Poor Mans Variac.
If the tv stays on you might get a clue on where to go next.... You can use
100W, 150W 200W bulb.
