FWIWNMIA I got this mishmashup to work again. It sat sleeping for at least ten years and did not want to revive without a replacement CDrom drive and new video card and new firewire card. Sometimes it pixelates and sort of kicks itself in the butt but there is no crashing and fast recovery.
