Original source is NTSC composite, correct?
I don't see anything wrong with this picture that would be corrected by replacing parts. Some adjustment of the geometry might be possible, but correcting one edge may throw off the others. You need to check it with a regular video source (DVD) that doesn't have black borders and see if there is anything objectionable.
