I never had cable. Either I was out in the sticks, or these days there's nothng on that I want to watch that I don't already have on vhs, dvd, or as mp4 on a server. Here in Canada, main stream media news is bought and paid for Liberal party propaganda ($1.4 billion) so I don't bother with it. The last time I had OTA was 2007. I tried digital OTA when I ran across one of the converter boxes on clearance and got one Canwest Global channel which was about as entertaining as watching paint dry. The last time I tried it I couldn't even receive it anymore.
These days it's streaming, or local network to a Android tv box from that to the BT modulator. Im still running the same TV daily as I was in 1987 though.
