The seller does want to remove the CRT from the set.
He makes a good point that it was shipped to him in 1991 across 2,000+ miles in a train with the CRT mounted and secured in place with a special support at the rear.
Once you have the CRT in your hands, now how are you going to pack and ship it?
Unlike a small 7-10 inch tube, packing the CT-100's CRT in the TV is reasonable.
I'll probably have it put in/on a crate / pallet and trucked by one carrier or another.
