Oh man that is really unfortunate. Well it is a lot worse than that. I have suffered from a similar problem which decomissioned one hand/forearm for 6 months in a sling (the first time) and I know how frustrating it can be to not be able to tie shoelaces, wash dishes, etc. I tore a tendon in my left wrist (they thought it was karpel tunnel at first). Man was that painful! It still acts up and I have to watch my heavy lifting. I strained it just last week lifting a washing machine and had to baby it again since.
If you are left handed you can still punch holes in walls from the frustration.
Bummer man! Hope you heal quickly!
