that apple tube sure is interesting to read about,i dont think it ever hit manufacturing in sets,but this is interesting though..if you have ever hear of sony's small "VIDIMAGIC" small single tube protable video projectors,it uses what sony called an "INDEXTRON" crt,it uses the same technology as the apple,> one gun,ONE cathode,and has index electrodes like the apple tube does.i wonder where sony got the idea??
