BTW, to respond to an earlier comment made here regarding SC color TV, I honestly don't believe Stromberg-Carlson made color sets (the company may have gone out of business before color really caught on) and if they did, the sets may not have sold very well. The last b&w SC console I remember seeing belonged to my aunt, who bought it in the '50s. The set had a white cabinet with doors (and Chinese accent pieces on the door pulls, IIRC) to hide the CRT.
