I am painting the faceplate. I already have the silver inner painted and just sprayed the gold outer ring. I am using Plasti-kote Classic Metals paint. There no name of the color on the can. I guess the cap is the tip off. What if somebody switches caps?
I got it at Michaels craft store. It is really coming out nice. All that is left is to paint the outer brown color. I will then mount it in the cabinet. I have a CRT waiting to be installed.
The new grill cloth and lytics are coming from Antique radio. The picture is the grill cloth that I am considering using.
