He has about 15 of them which he constantly threatens to ask me to repair. So far, keeping one of his awful Magnavox sets operational has been OK with him.
Oh; I have no doubt it needs "a tube", but it also likely needs the following: Flyback, Focus coil, Convergence yoke bracket, tuner rebuilt, filter caps, phono overhauled, new CRT, new knobs, new cord, new chassis, and new cabinet,
Better yet, retrofit it with a Zenith 25DC56 chassis!!!!!
