Your opinion is just fine, I thought it was too high also.
The last one on ebay went for $400 or $500 I think, I got mine for $100 probably because it was listed wrong and you had to specify "motorola TV set" to find it.
However if this is the new going price I guess I can live with the 10X appreciation
