I am not clear on the symptoms. Does either one have a decent picture with the antenna connected? Does the horizontal hold affect the picture?
Be careful teating those 9QP4 picture tubes. They operate on a 4 volt filament voltage at 300 ma. Make sure you set the filament voltage before connecting to a tester.
