These plans are possibly from 1955, not overly complicated. Biggest part making color wheel. All or most parts easily available. I may start on chassis then work on wheel. The colorwheel needs to be probaly 2.5 to 3 times bigger than screen size. A big wheel cAN BE DONE, JUST MORE powerful motor. are these homebrew wheels usually housed in something for safetty?? I've seen one color wheel at museum on East coast, I think it was a factory unit.

Yes, these are for b/w american sets to convert to NTSC color format using a color wheel. nyone interested--let me know and post results..

just think about it, 1947 12" color tv(using a restored post war set).
