Hoo hah!
Ya know, it's amazing what one can accomplish when one
A) doesn't know any better
B) is stubborn and
C) is foolhardy enough to just keep asking "I wonder what
this does?"
Anyhoo, possessing all three of the above qualities, I finally found the elusive 'width adjustment sleeve' and got Sven looking mighty fine! I think I would have found it sooner had I realized that it's really no more than a thickish piece of foil. I was looking for something more substantial.
I will post a picture in the gallery just as soon as I suck it off my camera. This isn't a fancy-schmancy collectible set, and there really wasn't anything majorly wrong with it, but it's
mine and I'm proud of my first little foray into fixing a TV, no matter how minor it was.
As for the above, I think I'll add D) has friends who know what they're doing and are willing to share!
