Gosh, I would think such info would command at least a $10 or $20 bill. To me the info is more rare than the set in a way. I mean how many service packets or other paperwork (I guess today its a bilingual owners manual and a rebate form) has anyone saved from sets you are currently using everyday. Probably very few. The sets outlast the paperwork.
Still in all none of the stuff is a goldmine. Most TV people are just having fun. None of us are getting rich. Like restoring an antique car, you are only helping in the preservation of something nice from the past. Your not gonna turn a big profit unless you can afford to keep the thing in dry storage for 20 years. Other than that if you more or less break even when you decide to move something you are doing good.
I'm kind of glad TV stuff is not going through the roof. If it were there would not be as many people able to participate.
