I, too, was contacted by the owner, and gave him much the same advice -- possibly a "store brand" or a custom cabinet.
I suggested that, if he knows the original area of sale, he contact the reference desk at that public library for help in finding old business directories, city directories, etc., something with the name Bond. I'm married to a former reference librarian and I know that they love interesting questions like this, as a break from answering questions from whiny teenagers needing homework help.
It's cool to have an oddball or very scarce item . . . unless you want a schematic and can't identify the chassis. I'm still trying to identify the chassis in my Scott 800B6 combo:
