Home made parts

I am going to use these on old TVs but radios could use them also.
I found 2 original caps that looked like they were made of copper tubes
with copper end caps. I took 1 1/4 copper tube and end caps and pressed
a PVC fitting in the end to make mine. Maybe will turn down a small area
on fitting end to make it look more like orig with its crimp. I found the pal
nuts to go on PVC fitting. Orig pal nut is a 7/8 - 9 course thread my fitting
has 7/8 - 14 finer thread.
One tv project wanted 10 caps like this all looking the same out of ALUM.
Copper will do.
I did not know any of these were ever made in copper????
