A lot of that new smell was from the real wood as well as the excellent finishes that were used to make them a work of art and a damned good looking piece of furniture. Imagine, you could have real walnut, cherry wood, maple and other expensive fine woods are your pleasure. Remember, this was an investment and was made to LAST for several years.
