I'm sure you've been following my thread in the TV Swapboard...what's that, you haven't?! Well, darn, how am I supposed to give away any TV sets if you don't check it out! Anyway, I wanted to post one of the "keepers" from that find. This is a Philco from the early sixties. I haven't done any research on it yet, but no mention of Ford, no UHF. One interesting thing is that the sticker on the crt states plainly, in big letters "6 volt filament, 250 ma". I wonder if this was meant to telegraph that this wasn't one of those lousy 2 volt crt's that they used in the Predicta? According to the emblem above the control panel this is the "Woodstock". Kinda neat looking set, I think. Before you can ask, yes, the cabinet is all plastic.
