Hello,
on christmas day, a friend of mine, tv collector, visited me and donated a tv set wrack to me. I took it first and thought that I would exchange it for other tv spare parts. It is a Dutch Philips TX500 with a broken crt:

But later I realized that this is one of the first 625 line tv sets and I decided to keep and restore it. Meanwhile I have got a new crt with god emission and a missing four channel tuner for it.
Another tv set I got in the last year was a British one, Bush TV22. The bakelite housing is in mint condition but the chassis looks bad:

The crt is absolutely bad, with no emission (measured with a crt meter).
Today I have fired up the set and I got a small raster. It was only visible in an absolutely darken room:

The crt is a MW22-16. Does somebody know whether I can replace the crt with an American tube, perhaps a 12" crt?
