A steam powered mechanical TV?
Well, it's a purposely nutty project, but here's a story about a guy who is building a steam-powered mechanical television! Kinda puts the fish tankers to shame!

Grant Dixon (now-deceased member of NBTV) told a story of seeing a tap-water-pressure powered mechanical TV as a teenager in England. Supposedly worked for short periods until a neighbor would turn on a tap.
I have done the MP3 experiment, and it doesn't work so well, but this fellow wants to find his own mistakes, so I will not make alternate suggestions. |
