Awesome Birthday Gift.
I just wanted to share my excitement.
My wife bought me the Collectors Guide to Antique Radios. I absolutely love this book. I was amazed. |

I have that book-mine's several editions back, though. Pretty decent reference material.

The pictures are great in the book, but I'd like to see more. Out of the 11 radios that I currently have, 4 are pictured in the book. I'd like to look through more pictures, and see if I can find radios that I "used to" have, but no longer own... or maybe I shouldn't... it would just make me depressed. At any rate, I am fortunate that my wife supports my hobby. We each have very unique tastes and hobbies. Her main hobby is making .999 silver jewelery using a material called PMC (Precious Metal Clay.) It was a development of Mitsubishi for some reason. You can mold, sculpt, or stamp something in the clay, fire it, polish it, and you have a piece of silver in that image that is .999 pure. It's awesome. Thanks again, MK |
